South Shore Hospital's
19th Annual Golf Classic
Raised a Record-Breaking $312,000
The
2008 Golf Classic, which took place May 19 at Pinehills Golf Club and Waverly Oaks Country Club, raised more than $312,000 to benefit cancer care at South Shore Hospital.Attendees enjoyed a full day of golf, on the course BBQ lunch, beverage tent, outstanding golf gifts including custom designed fleece jackets, grand prize raffle, dinner with entertainment and a live and silent auction.
By adding the third course we were able to accommodate 375 players including 105 new players and 21 new corporate sponsors.
