Book Drive for South Shore Hospital Children’s Library

Barnes & Noble customers can support the new Children’s Library at the South Shore Hospital through the annual Holiday Book Drive, taking place at both the Hingham
and Braintree, Massachusetts stores from Saturday, Nov. 1,  to Thursday, Jan. 1.
The Barnes & Noble Holiday Book Drive provides an opportunity for customers to
donate books to children in need and children’s programs through locally designated
non-for-profit organizations.

Many Holiday Book Drive recipients have been schools, libraries, literacy organizations, family social service agencies and homeless centers.  This year, Barnes & Noble Braintree, located at 150 Granite Street and Barnes & Noble Hingham, located at the Derby Street Shoppes will be collecting books for LINKS (Leaders Involving a New Kind of Support), a non-profit organization and a member of the Friends of South Shore Hospital, which is sponsoring the new South Shore Hospital Children’s Library.

LINKS members will be present to wrap purchases for the holiday on Saturday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Dec.7 at the Hingham store. Members will also be wrapping at the Braintree store location on Monday, Dec.22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23.   Cash donations to support the LINKS charitable program are welcome.
