Business Support
South Shore Health and Educational Foundation gratefully accepts donations from businesses. In fact, many South Shore businesses consider their community hospital a priority for support. They say they regard South Shore Hospital as a vital resource. They see its value in the scope of services and the growing number of employees and customers who rely on the hospital for their care. Business gifts to South Shore Hospital impact the entire region.
I believe South Shore Hospital returns good value for our support by helping to make the region a healthy place to live and by taking good care of our neighbors and families.
-Scott Ramsay, Executive Vice-President, Shaws Supermarkets
Business gifts are recognized through the Foundations recognition program, and through events such as the South Shore Hospital Charity Golf Tournament and the Walk for Hospice. Leadership gifts are recognized with membership in the Business Leaders' Circle or Presidents Circle.
The Business Leaders Circle
Through their support, members of the Business Leaders' Circle help South Shore Hospital continue to be a regional leader in providing health care on the South Shore.
Club members are committed to helping their community hospital remain financially strong for their employees and customers, who depend on the hospital for quality care.
Membership opens opportunities for recognition, networking, and learning about South Shore Hospital behind the scenes. Members also recruit other businesses that wish to do the same.
To become a member of the Business Leaders Circle, your minimum commitment is $5,000, which can be paid as a pledge over 1 or 2 years.
The Presidents Circle
Through their support, members of the Presidents Circle have made a significant difference in the availability of health care on the South Shore. Membership is good for the hospital and good for those businesses, too.
Overview of the Presidents Circle
- Business donors who pledge a minimum of $25,000 can receive recognition by joining the Presidents Circle. Six-figure gifts have been made, typically paid over three years.
- Membership is limited to presidents, CEOs and business principals. They are successful business people, often in highly competitive arenas. They are individuals who appreciate and exemplify the role of philanthropic action in shaping the quality of life for all residents of their community.
- Membership in the Presidents Circle opens opportunities for recognition, networking, and learning about the evolving operations of a great hospital from the perspective of its administrators and medical professionals.
